Be sure to follow Rebar Engineering Specifications. - Incorrect placement can leed to serious concrete structural failures.
Bar Spacing is the on-center spacing of bars.
Edge Clearance is the distance from the outer edge of the concrete slab to the first bar.
Select Exact Spacing to keep all spaces as entered, adjusting the center spaces smaller if necessary, to fit slab length and width dimensions. With Exact Spacing, if center spaces are adjusted, they are drawn red in the diagram, and noted in the Running Bar Points list. Select Adjust Spacing to adjust entered bar spacing down to nearest even spacing to suit total length and width. (Click both spacing options to see how the spacing and diagram changes)
Select Bar Size, and choose Waste / Overlap percentage to add extra total rebar length for wastage and bar overlaps.
To fine tune Slider Controls click to select and use ◄ ► (cursor) keyboard keys.
