If you know any 3 values (Pulley sizes or RPM) and need to calculate the 4th, enter the 3 known values and hit Calculate to find the missing value.
For example, if Pulley 1 is 80mm diameter, and spins at 1000 RPM, and you need to find the Pulley 2 size to spin it at 400 RPM, enter Pulley 1 = 80, Pulley 1 RPM = 1000, Pulley 2 RPM = 400, and hit Calculate to find Pulley 2 diameter.

Multiple Pulley Sets - RPM Reduction

To calculate multiple pulley sets, where the first driven pulley shaft drives the second driver pulley, and so on, enter Initial Driver Pulley RPM, Number of Sets, pulley Diameters and Centres of each Set below. The RPM of the first Driven pulley is transferred to second set Driver pulley and so on.
To Decrease RPM, choose Initial Bottom pulley and work up. To Increase RPM select Initial Top pulley and work down.

Drag the Rotate slider to animate the diagram and see the actual RPM reduction through all the pulley sets.
