I built a honey extractor out of wood and old bandsaw blades. Your calculations must be accurate because it works perfectly.

This is a new chicken coop I'm building. I wish I had found your site a year ago when I built the first one. Other calculators don't allow for different lengths/angles between the upper and lower rafters so I'm constantly bumping my head. With the new one built from your site, not only do I have plenty of headroom but I was able to design the sidewall to perfectly match the height of the wire panel that will keep the chickens safe from predators. Thank you so much for your rafter calculator. I typed in all the things the calculator asked for and out popped a drawing of my new rafters!
I followed it exactly and they were perfect! They fit so tight and clean at the top and at the bird's mouth. Since it was the middle of winter, I had to build up and over the old wall and ceiling. Here is a picture of us at the beginning of demo day. I was so happy to open up the room and see our new project...and the rafters we built! Very Happy! Thanks again! Roof Framing Calculator |

I used your website to calculate how to cut these stair stringers. The treads will be cut from 2x12 lumber and the risers cut from 1x8 spruce. This is my first time to cut stringers and they turned out exactly right thanks to your website. I am building a small two story 'apartment' inside a larger shop. Thanks again for your website! I do ceramic replications of the ancient Southwest Native Americans. I did a collaboration project with two other people where we each added our own twist to create ceramic bowls painted with ideas taken from the ancient past, and then finishing them off with pine needle basketry on the rim. For the basketry, holes were drilled around the rim through leather hard clay, and your circle divider template was used to evenly place the holes. Below is an example of a finished bowl. Your template printed onto paper made it very easy to properly space the holes. Thank you! Eric |
