What an amazing tool!!! We milled our own timber for our rafters and post and beam barn structure which built on our property here in Ireland. We choose to use gussets made from birch plywood which were nailed and glued to the rafter trusses, which were made in a jig to keep everything fitting nice and tight.
Here are a few photos thanks so much blocklayer.com for our amazing roof. The calculator made it so easy all we need to do is input a few measurements and hey presto the trusses we made were a perfect fit. Thanks a million!
