Full Scale Printable Equatorial Sundial Templates - Metric
Size the sundial faces (any size), then cut and use as templates to mark a cardboard, wood or similar surface, or glue paper faces directly onto backing.
The dial face templates fit back to back, so the same numbers are in the same position on each face.
Place the Gnomon (chopsticks work well) through the centre hole, making sure it sits at 90 degrees to the sundial face.
Using the diagram below, create a base to hold the dial face, tilting it at the correct angle, so the Gnomon is at the angle of latitude.
Align the tilted dial so the Gnomon faces the correct Celestial Pole.
